Today is the last day of our trip & like most farewells, it is hard to say "goodbye." There is so much left to do! When I look @ the scope of the depravity & the heartache I feel like the ability to change things is too large of a task. You can look in any direction & see things that need to change - it's very discouraging! Then, just when the question of "what am I doing here" comes to my mind, I see a child whose life is better because of the work that's being done. Through our partnership w/ New Hope Mission we are changing the lives of many people here. I hope to one day return to Haiti & find a country that has irradicated poverty, has better roads, & cleaner streets. But, as we work to that end, there are (57) children & there families who are seeing the love of Jesus through your generosity. There's really no telling how much of a difference we are making in the towns where New Hope has built churches & schools (significant I'm sure). But, I know that in the lives of your sponsored child, the difference is immeasurable! Keep it up!
